Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Star Path Learning ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who May Use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) or have a parent/guardian's consent to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by learners you add.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

• Subscription term. The Service is offered on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout).
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current rate until canceled. The payment method on file will be charged through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase; you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. After that period, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Your Use of the Service

You agree to:

• use the curriculum and resources for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only;
• keep your login credentials confidential and not share them outside your household;
• refrain from uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or legal risks.

5. Intellectual Property

All curriculum, videos, texts, graphics, and software are owned by or licensed to Star Path Learning and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access the content for your own homeschooling use; no other rights are granted.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit comments, assignments, or other materials, you grant Star Path Learning a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You remain responsible for the legality of anything you post.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access without notice if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or create security or legal exposure for us. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Educational outcomes may vary.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Star Path Learning, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 100.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in London, United Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these Terms or the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
